The catalog also lists a "STAB,FR FORK" Part number: 53240-MB1-030 and "STABI.,FR.FORK" Part number:
53240-MB1-040. As the names characterize, -050 is only a "Bridge" while -030 and -040 are "Stabilizers".
Looking at the 1983 CB1000, which also lists all three of the parts above in its catalog, there are -020 "STABILIZER FR FOK" which has side/tube cutouts. -010 "STABI FR FORK", which has slots cut rather than the entire square cutout on the side/fork area. Finally it lists -000, perhaps this is the solid bridge?
